Inkscape on PortableApps.com — Install & Use Guide

Run Inkscape from a USB drive using the PortableApps platform. Managed updates, no installation required, works on any Windows 10 or 11 PC. Step-by-step setup guide.

What is PortableApps?

PortableApps.com is a platform that packages popular apps — including Inkscape — in a standardised portable format. You install the PortableApps Platform on a USB drive (or any folder), then add apps from its built-in store. Everything stays on the USB — no registry entries, no files on the host PC.

Advantage over the plain zip: PortableApps handles updates automatically and provides a menu launcher to manage all your portable apps in one place.
