Download the MSI

Run as Administrator

Right-click the downloaded .msi and choose Run as administrator. Follow the installer wizard — default settings are fine for most users.

First launch

On first run Inkscape may take 15–30 seconds to load as it initialises fonts and extensions. This is normal. Subsequent launches are faster.
